seeing the light in everything

Pinkie & Blue is a new work created by Jim Wren about museum artwork coming to life at night under a blue moon.

My job was to make these classic pieces literally come to life and move around as much as possible on the three big screens that made up the set. The interesting part about this was that I had no prior experience with animation! However, I learned a lot very quickly and ended up learning how to animate via stop-motion. The whole show was built using Adobe Photoshop and QLab.

It was a wonderful learning experience and the kids that came to see the show loved every second!
